Quite so. Look at this link:

You'll note that this is a virus that does no harm and was sent to McAfee by
some person they will not id merely to demonstrate that they could create
such a virus.
McAfee, of course, immediately wrote the code to detect and remove said
virus, and is now busily "scaring the horses," or "making the world safe
from hackers," whichever. I report. You decide.
