Logged in directory not showing

At the very top left of the Xy screen, it shows the drive and directory, e.g.,
C:\Xy4
Something happened to my set up so that, regardless of the actual path, it
shows:
C:..
My settings.dfl file since the problem appeared matches older versions of
it. So I have no idea what's going on here.
