Phil--If you needed dtp, you'd know it. Unless you're joining multiple
text files and graphics into single output--as in a periodical (in which
case pros prefer QuarkXPress to PM)--in most cases a gui word processor
or even xyDos suffices with lower overhead--even for books, as several
users can attest, and also in some cases for multiple input (e.g., a
newsletter). I've seen exquisite books "dtp'd" with winWord by a designer
without a Mac in his studio. His proof printer is a 600dpi HP with an
UltraScript software PS interpreter as rasterizer. --a
