Well, that article rather hits it on the head, doesn't it. Thanks. You
know, know matter what I might be constrained to put up with in the office
(i.e., MS-Word), I do what I want at home. One of the glories of being a
xy-writer is that the computers you need to do the job are now incredibly
cheap. I bought two 386 IBMs from my last employer--the first, purchased
about two years ago, I got for $100. The second, an exact replica of the
first, was $25. Also--a Toshiba T1000 laptop for $20. I LOVE my XY and my
DOS machines! (there. I said it.)

For Word bashers (i.e. everyone on this list), here's a nice little
tidbit from Forbes ASAP, whose only flaw is that it mentions WordPerfect
rather than XyWrite as a likely alternative to Word.
