Yes, that happens, but I went through the whole dir at the DOS prompt, no
archive bits set.

Well, I fixed the Path, but still no go. If there's a problem with SFN,
how come Carl's works? Or am I entering the command incorrectly? I've
been typing the name of the file after the routine, thus:
PDF2XY postghst.pdf
Should I point to it instead? Do I need postghst.prn loaded? The routine
seems to run (Lot of activity) but an empty viewpdf.txt results. I did
try looking at the code, but it's way over my head. Plenty of windows
available though (I got that much).
Robert, if it is a problem with SFN, no hurry. Skew-whiff is evidently a
New England idiom; I picked it up from a friend who was raised in
Massachusetts and Connecticut.
