Harry, it looks to me as if you're sending a word processor (even as
powerful a one as Xy) to do a database's job.
XyWrite is omnipotent. (Isn't it?)
I'd do that, import it into a database or spreadsheet app
No, I have to do this every day, so I wanted a macro for it.
I'm doing it okay, now that Carl has explained that Xy can't handle storing
more than 5k in a single s/g.
It's not, as you say, normalized--and who knows what further data entry by
(gasp!) human beings would do to it, once normalized. So I have to take a
very careful programming approach, one that allows for all possibilities.
