I don't think you should blame XYwrite. This sounds more like a common
DOS/Windows problem.
Make sure that your disks are OK, do not over-write excessively (use new
floppies once in a while), and make sure that your computer knows what is
currently on the b: drive by giving a dir b: command before saving there.
