And the third answer: Switch to a higher grade OS that allows you to
set the delay time in your print spool. Both OS/2 and Linux have
excellent print spoolers which, if nothing is ahead of it in the spool,
allow a print job to hit the printer immediately. Or just sit and wait
until you turn the thing on.
