Wengier,
Yeah, no doubt. I'll give that a try shortly. In the meantime, I've got
EVERYTHING working--italics, bold, and underline! And the colors that I
want, too.
BTW, for future reference, the value one sets for MD NM can interfere
with the proper functioning of the settings for the top command line:
using MD NM=251 made the first two values under DF L1 not work right.
When I made it MD NM=207, all was well. Of course, I had to adjust the
colors= section of CONFIG.TXT to keep MD NM being black on
white.
Thanks for a wonderful extension of XyWrite into the future!
Regards,
Harry
Hi Harry,
I think you need to change the working directory to the vDos-lfn
directory (i.e. C:\Dropbox\vDos-lfn) before executing the "Run"
command. In the shortcut to vDos-lfn this working directory is
automatically set so you won't see this problem. Hope this
helps.

Wengier,
I'm almost there, regarding quitting and re-loading to see the effect of
changes in CONFIG.TXT. I'm having trouble with the last line:
Run C:\Dropbox\vDos-lfn\vDos-lfn.exe
It produces a large-size, black DOS screen with a C:\ prompt. That's
despite the fact that the shortcut has exactly the same line, without
"Run"
and it launches XyWrite.
And if I go in to Explorer and double-click on vDos-lfn.exe it launches
XyWrite.
Here's a screenshot of what I get:

Any help would be appreciated.
