Dear Mr. Slivitzky,

If you don't want to disable your memory manager (understandably), try setting
the ZX default to 1. Default ZX=1 tells XyWrite not to automatically use
expanded memory (just like typing EDITOR/0e at the DOS prompt). At the very
top of your STARTUP.INT file, add a new line that reads BX d zx=1 Q2;*;.
Hopefully, by setting this default you will not lock up when using the French
thesaurus. As I said before, it sounds as if memory management is the problem,
so lets tell XyWrite not to use expanded memory and see how that works and at
least you'll still be able to take advantage of the extra memory with your
other products.
