I took one of the BAT files left by trying to run TYP, viz.
@start /min C:\gs\gs8.70\bin\gswin32C.exe
C:\gs\gs8.70\bin\setup.ps -dBATCH -q -dNOPAUSE D:\XY4\FO.PS
On running this command (retyped _carefully_ at a CMD prompt)
GSView for Windows popped up the following message (copied and
pasted):

So that looks as if either
1. Ghostcript and GSView have changed; or
2. My Setup of both is defective.
NB That this was on my desktop, where there is NO \fonts
directory _anywhere_ in c:\gs
