That's of course what Apple said; but within weeks of the Macbook Air's coming out, Lenovo came out
with the ThinkPad X300, on which this is written (while traveling); Like the Air, it also fits
inside an large interoffice envelope, weighs only an ounce or two more, and has built-in ethernet
and serial ports, DVD-CD burner, and three USB ports. To carry what's needed for the Air to connect
might be thought to defeat the purpose.
