Though the LCD typeface is horrid, I don't seem to have any
difficulty getting full screen with XYDos and Win2K.

Try this:
1. Alt-Enter on the full screen xyw to make it in a window.
2. Right click on the top bar.
3. Select Properties
4. Select Layout
5. Change to 80x25
6. OK
7. select "save properties for future windows ..."
