I'll bet you get this from a bunch of folks, but it looks like
the problem is that you need a "T" on the end of "STARTUP.IN"
which should be "STARTUP.INT"

I wanted to install XY3+ under Real PC on my Japanese iMac. I
made nice
subdirectory for it, copied all the files over, checked the
startup.int,
and started it... but it starts and then freezes immediately,
with "RUN
STARTUP.IN" appearing in the command line. I would like to look
under the
hood and fix the problem, but where should I start? XY has never
done this
to me before.
