XW 4.012 in Canada

Did I just type 4.012 as the subject header??? I mean 4.12...

I too ordered 4.12 a day or two after it was available. 10 days
or two weeks later I received the disks --- for XyDOS 4.016. So I
called and reordered. The correct disks were here in another 12 or 14 days.
(US mail) If you haven't received yours, call again. They're
friendly, if not always perfectly organized.

So far 4.12 seems more stable (I haven't crashed it yet,
something I did several times a day with 4.11). But it still has
the footnote cross-referencing bug: If you have an FM1 command
embedded, references to a labeled FN1 footnote don't work (i.e.
the number doesn't appear).
Deleting the FM1 command enables the reference to work.

The help seems to be improved (more "Windows-like") as well.

For some reason TTG still hasn't added a routine to the menus to
provide an easy way to embed templates once a file is open. Since
XyWrite 2+ I've been opening a file with NE ____ and *then*
merging in a set of formatting commands. I've been modifying the
DLG file of XY 4 to give me a menu of templates available (like
you see when you use the menus to create a new file). I then tied this menu to
Ctrl-F11 (since it was free). (It can be done for DOS and Windows
versions.) Now I can merger TPL files whenever I like, and I
don't have to type the path and name.
