I think that part of the problem here is that many users of
XYWrite are inveterate DOS people, and we have no wish to
migrate to a Windows programme, which is what we would
have to do were we to migrate to NB at this point. Unless,
of course, you plan to market an updated DOS version of
  NB.

In addition, I can say that I did purchase the last version of
NB for DOS, i.e., 4.5a, ...a very good programme. However,
I find it to have one serious limitation, ...it can not handle well
large files, i.e, files of over 100, 000 kb to 1.5mb and above
bytes. So, if I want to remain with DOS (and I definitely
do) I am forced to migrate some of my large files work to
XY4, where large files are not a problem. Of course, I still
use NB4.5a, and as I said, I like it very much. But Windows
NB is no solution for me, and I suspect others as well.

We continue to license the XyWrite source code, and nothing that TTG
does (or doesn't do) will change that. TTG continues to own the code.

The solution seems obvious. We are interested, available and we have
world-class assembler programmers. It's time to get behind Nota Bene!
