OF, if DocInfo is enabled with Default IO=1. DocInfo comprises metadata
including author, creation date and time, modified date and time, revision
number and several other items, which can be retrieved with VA^xx, where
xx is the appropriate mnemonic (VA^AU for author, for example). VA$DO
tells you whether the file contains any DocInfo (0=No, 1=Yes).
VA/NV IO gives 0, as does VA/NV $DO. So the culprit sits elsewhere.
And here's the best part: other programs ENC normally. E.g., this one:
'01-22-2009 15:08:22
~<>1~>'BCBlock_hasn'`t_been_defined--aborting'BX
p_3'Q2~~',*','^'DE',*',_have_to_get_to_end_to_make
_intra-block_selection_work_reliably'^~'BXci/s_/;~[;~[
;~[/;~[;~[/'Q2~)~>~~',*','^~'BX
ci/s_/__/_/'Q2~)~>~~',*','^~'BX
ci/s_/;~[_/;~[/'Q2~)~>~~',*','^~'BXci/s_/_;~[/;~[/'Q2~)~>~~',*',
'^'BXci/s_/_--_/--/'Q2',*',~Z
So, the clear application of Mill's Methods here is to add bits of the
encodeable file's code to the unencodeable file, and see where the change
occurs. I'll do that when I have more time.
