I will leave the final word to KF, but NB has been built atop XY,
just one more example of the latter's capacity for customization.
Presumably if they want to build a new version on top of
something newer than XY III, they will need to buy, borrow, or
lease some rights from TG (unless they are just TG's "New York
office"). Doesn't sound apocalyptic to me.
