A Real puzzler

Hi there -- In the past I've asked whether U2 worked with Signature, but
without drawing a single reply--perhaps no-one knows? But now I have as
real puzzler. I have Xy4 running on four computers with XP with no
problem except for No. 4, my Compaq desktop. It had no problems, either,
but then it started refusing to go into WYSIWYG mode. Assuming the cause
was a corrupted virtual DOS in Windows, I've now restored this machine
twice from HP disks, the second time doing a real clean sweep
reformatting--as far as I know--and it STILL refuses WYSIWYG, i.e.,
still refuses to be restored to its original state. This isn't a
life-threatening problem, because I can switch my desktop with another
machine, but has anyone encountered this problem? Everything else,
including alt-enter full-screen, works fine.
