would really like to know about forums, groups, etc. of people who support xy,
being one of those myself. i think if we got together, via this and/or other
venues, and shared our methods of support (customized help, training manuals,
etc.) and brainstormed together, we could really help ourselves, as well as
help promote our favorite word processor! i myself have a wide variety of
things i use: i've written a beginner & advanced xywrite course, suitable for
classroom or self-tutorial, my workmates and i have designed extensive help
menus, for help not only with xywrite, but also agency-, network-,dos-specific
applications. i also have designed "minisessions" which i teach at our ota
"computer camp" (these are 45-minute long, focused classes on specific xy
functions such as save/gets, column tables, etc.) i would love to share these
with others who need ideas, or just don't have time to write & develop in
exchange for other ideas. could we even have a special thing on the xyquest
board for support issues where we could post our lesson plans, help files, b
rainstorm ideas? please respond!  i meant this to be for EVERYONE, but i see
now it's to the mysterious JOHN B., who seems to know soooo much. pass it on!
