Robert, you and Carl use XyWrite as a command center for so many
operations that anything could be next. But is there any way of
improving the print stream? Usually, I just use Quark if I want nice
printing ... I wish that XyWrite could have evolved into more of a
high-end one-stop publishing powerhouse, but it would have taken years ....
Wordprocessing and desktop publishing are different worlds.
For publishing purposes, I use Corel Ventura, other nearly "abandonware"
program maintained by the users list. Ventura publications can use
external ANSI texts I am continuously modifying in ansified XyWrite
without the boring import/export proceeding you probably use in Quark.
So it's possible to combine XyWrite edition facilities with nice formatting.
