Ar har! Upgraded antivirus software! Too bad no one mentioned
that *much* earlier. If the antivirus program is running
continuously (as it does on most corporate sites), that is
probably why some programs run *a lot* slower. Try turning it off
and you can tell. You may be able even at work to keep it turned
off. You obviously need to turn it on again only when connected
to the Internet or introducing new files in any other way.
