Carl,
Your program to search for long tests works perfectly. It is
the way Herb Tyson's program should work and does not. His program does cause
out of memory in XY3, but not in Xy4. Similarly to your program you have
to define a passage of text and then invoke the program. One or twice it found
and defined a duplicate of the passage searched for, other times the prompt
message not found and the third instance, it finds the text undefined and still
the prompt message comes up, not found. Just as an exercise in programming, by
examining it you should be able to find the reason for these
discrepancies.
With regards,
Morris
