Leslie, thanks... and if I look at your comment objectively, it's an analogy
which is on-line. I have recently spoken with our product manager in Baltimore
and have conveyed the points being brought up here in this forum. No doubt the
thread of comments, suggestions, problems, etc., are legitimate. That is the
reason why I constantly bring up these issues with Development and the decision
makers in Baltimore. Your voices are not going unheard, at least here.
BTW, the keys which we cannot conventionally control are F10, Alt-Tab, Alt-Esc,
Alt-space, Alt-Enter, Alt-PrtSc, CTRL-Esc, PtrSc. Also, the complete alphabet
under TABLE=ALT is mapped to accelerator keys. You can remap all of these keys
except ALT-F. Windows will not allow us to remap this. Regarding other Tables
(i.e. TABLE=CTRL, CTRL+SHIFT, CTRL+ALT+SHIFT), many of these keys are mapped
with commands which take the operator directly into a menu dialog frame. For
example, CTRL+O brings you directly to the Open File dialog frame. You can, if
you wish, remap these keys.
