You're right, we're working from different kbd files. I just found a
little laminated function key reminder card that--I think--came with
XY3. One side says F8 is formatted view, the other says F8 is Move. I
have no idea what instructions I might have trimmed off the card in
order to get it to fit above whatever keyboard I was using at the time.
The Quick Reference Guide that came with XY4 says F8 is formatted view
and CTRL+M is Move.
Now, in my kbd file, the specific instructions for each F8 call is
preceded by XH (clear help), so 66=XH,SP. Interestingly, Move is
50=XH,MV. Maybe if you threw in an XH before your MV? Or whatever
precedes the specific instructions on your other view keys? Does ctrl+M
also give you move? What are the instructions on that key?
I think somewhere in this groggy Sunday morning thinking there may be a
clue.
As long as we're on the subject, I can't get graphic view anymore. The
status line returns "No screen fonts. Cannot go into graphics view." The
keyboard file for shift+F8 says 66=XH,WZ. Any help?

In XY4, F8 is line-page view, no?
Depends on what's in your kbd file. Mine has
66=MV
But even this doesn't work:
66=x
Thanks, anyway,
