All I can infer from this that the XPL programming language and the need
to use a Command Line as an imprint or stroke of genius.
The command really _is_ a stroke of genius. It profoundly implies that the
user is in control of the program, not that the program is in control of
the user. Programmers can still feel somewhat in control of their working
environment, but users no longer can. This small community of XyWrite users
is thus apparently the last group of users to experience the incomparable
feelings of security and freedom that result from being in control of the
computer program that you are using.
