Re: which computer - win98se update

I just visited the two sites for Win98SE upgrade, and it turns out that what they have is a service pack of updates for 98SE. These would be only for people who already have 98SE, and likely a good thing for them. But unfortunately no answer for folks like me, looking to upgrade from plain old 98 to 98SE.

so... I repeat the request -- anyone out there have a 98 > 98SE upgrader or know where on can be found?

There's a Win98se update available at:

- http://exuberant.ms11.net/98sesp.html or
- http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4131.html

It's a (12 Mb) private compilation of the
important updates supplied by MS (before they
stopped supporting 98se). I've been using it for
some time and find the system is more solid.
