Interesting discussion re HTML and Xy. It sure would be a neat
thing to have a powerful text editor available for on-line use.
But TTG evidently has another mission. It has been developing
stuff other than word processors, and it does not seem to have
the resources to be aggressive in continuing XyW and Xy4
development. I've been waiting for months for a simple (I think)
bug fix. I've been trying to interest TTG in the Enhancements
package. Total silence. Not even a "no, thanks." And I suspect
that it's not KF's indolence but that he -- and the rest of the
operation -- is stetched rather thin.
Kenny is being paid to run a company and make the hard decisions.
Our suggestions may have some merit, but they may simply not fit
with what Kenny and his investors think is best. Don't stop
making suggestions, but let's not be surprised, disappointed, or
petulant that they seem to fall on deaf ears. Feedback would be
nice, but maybe Kenny's too busy fighting alligators to remember
to drain the swamp!
