This is an easy one:
on the command line, type CTRL+Enter and you will get the character to
search for. I use it dozens of times a day, usually as a search and replace.
Another great thing about the SEarch command, you can use spaces for the
"delimiter," or whatever its called, instead of another character.
thus, the command to find the carriage return is (I am not sure the proper
way to type this out, but you can figure it out) It is in the reference manual:
SE followed by two spaces ctrl+enter followed by space then F9, or execute
OR: SE /CTRL+ENTER/ XC

I've used XyWrite since 1982, but have never been able to figure out whether
searching for the left pointing arrow carriage return that is generated by
the enter key is possible.
Can anyone help?
I use XyW 3.51.
