Gee, Michael, sorry to hear you have not yet worked out a way to enjoy
XyDOS on the T41. Reminds me of the fairytale "The Princess and the
Pea". I must not be enough of a princess, because I'm happy (okay, not
_perfectly_) with XyDOS on my T40.
I use black letters on pale gray background. In the DosBox, with bold
font, it's very readable. Finding the right color combinations did make
a difference (and it's a great way to waste time, when I'm avoiding
work). I've even grown partial to those zig-zaggy letters in full
screen.
Go figure.
