That should put paid to the firms which sell anti-virus software.
Hourly updates are not practicable; in my opinion, the need for hourly
updates refutes the whole product.


A completely different strategy is required, which is why I use and
recommend applications which allow the user to delete things on the
server, rather than risk downloading suspicious mail and trying to
detoxify it on the local pc.
