I prefer not to rely on autosaves, don't ask me why, but it also doesn't really
solve my problem here.

I'm not sure what you mean about "adding the BC line in your startup.int file"
-- do you mean the BC c:,k: XC line for specifying the secondary drive? Or
which? And curious why whatever it is must come last, for that matter.

It always helps to see the pertinent part of the message to which you're
responding.... Also, it would be nice to know someone had made note of the
request to be able to save backups to a second subdirectory instead of a drive
designation so I didn't have to use any of these kludges.
