Missing descenders in Notabene

I have a query for anybody using Notabene regularly. I have found that
when I reach to bottom of the screen, the descenders in the bottom line
of type (where, inevitably I am typing) disappear off the bottom of the
screen. I have tried different fonts and sizes but all show this to a
degree. Is this just me, or does anybody else see the same effect?
