Win 7 tryout

OK - - got two near-identical laptop drives so I can fall back to
Vista just in case XyWrite 4 doesn't work. Will try it tonight and
report aught I learn. I'll try full screen, but I never use it.
I have copies of Windows 7 Ultimate for both 32 and 64 bit. My Dell
1720 has a hardware limitation of 4GB RAM, but,
am I right in assuming that I should install the 64-bit version anyway?
My system is 64-bit capable (T8300, 2.40 GHz).
Also, can anyone tell me why my messages to XyWrite never get sent
back to me? Of course they're still in my outbox, but they used to
get sent to me as 'in' messages by the list.

You're the guinea pig. Let us know! It will affect what I do
on a couple of machines... I'm having to use Nvidia XP drivers
on my (Lenovo Thinkpad) Vista machines in order to have
full-screen VGA a la the old days. Works OK, but I seem to
recall reading during the Win7 betas that Win7 had no support
whatsoever for VGA. A deal-breaker for me.
