savesess , no argument, just the default sessions saved in the
directory that I am always logged into.

you say window #1 is created at startup, but are you sure that
window #1 is still open at the time the session is saved?
Yes. It is always, always there.
But maybe there's something wrong with my window defaults? I'd have to
check settings.dfl. In any case, here's my startup.int file (and I'm now

Even so, it seems unfair to ask you to debug this, or even bring it to your
