Run, don't walk, to Google and find yourself the download site for the
brilliant little Swiss text editor "NoteTab". The light version is free,
and it deals wonderfully with HTML files, giving you e.g. the option of
cleaning up all tags except those containing links.
NoteTab also has many XY-like features like incredible speed, auto-expand,
a macro language, a clean design, and lots of muscle.
A combination of the best of XY and NoteTab would be... oh well.
