Sure, you can add a separator table to SETTINGS.DFL or your printer
file, like this:

SE:3
word separators on this line
sentence separators on this line
paragraph separators on this line

The Ascii-34 double quote (") should be among the word separators
(and, of course, it's there by default if you don't have a table).
But a sep table is the sort of thing, if you do it at all, you do
once and then forget about, so it strikes me as unlikely to be the
source of Harry's anomaly. On the other hand, if the double quote
were inadvertently deleted from the table, you *will* get a spelling
error.

Been fiddling with SETTINGS.DFL lately, Harry?
