When I started with Xywrite in the mid-1980s, with
II+, I used to smile at the occasional preening of
Xyquest folk (user manuals and BBs) on the cleverness
of the mnemonics, such as CAll, SAve, etc.
When later I encountered Word--well, ever since, I
find myself appaluding X's mnemonics.
