The way it's
been explained to me is this...when Xywrite (or DOS) is run in a "window",
you're not running "real" DOS. Or I should say, real DOS is not being displayed.
It's still a Windows display...which is why different fonts and display modes
can be choosen from the icon's "properties". When you go into "full screen"
mode, you are then using "real" DOS.
I too cannot
get Xy3 to run in full screen on Win2000. I don't know if this means that
there's no access to "real" DOS, or that I just haven't figured out how to do it
yet. My solution at the moment is a duel-boot with Win 98 (Although, I have to
admit that it's for games...not Xywrite)
