I've renamed the file with a "txt" extension, but it needs to be saved as a
"zip" file once you get it. This (I hope) should fool your mailserver.

   Well, if the most irritating thing hasn't just happened....
   First of all, my Internet provider seems to have altered the subject
line
in Paul Ambos's recent message, since I feel almost sure the part in braces
and
the braces themselves weren't there originally, but inserted somewhere along
the
way.
   Next, the attachments in the e-mail have been removed.
   The following was inserted into the body of the e-mail:

   In place of the attachments is a new attachment, a text file, giving me

more detailed version of this, and warning me that batch files are often
malicious (as if I didn't already know that!), and that the attached zip
file
DArchBit.ZIP was "on the list of unacceptable attachments for this site" (as
if
they should decide for me which attachments I consider it acceptable or not
to
receive).
   Did a similar thing happen to anyone else? Is this acceptable
behaviour
for my Internet provider?

   Would anyone be able to think of a way I could receive these files, and
would anyone be willing, please, to send them to me in a way that will work?
Perhaps renaming the files to end in something else (such as ".txt") and
putting
the real extension onto the end of the main part, and I can then rename them
back? Or are the files on a XyWrite web site where I can go and get them?
   I would be grateful if anyone can help me with this, please. I know I
have
largely fallen away from active participation on this list, and rarely have
much
to say, because of my previously-mentioned difficulties in using XyWrite on
my
current computer arrangement; so maybe I'm not in a good position to ask for
such a favour. But I do have a interest in the program, and hope to use it
one
day, and I do want to keep up with any resources or files that are posted to
the
list, for possible future use. This list is obviously a valuable resource
for
getting information about the program, and I do save all posts in case I
might
one day need the information.

   My thanks to anyone who can think of a way around this and who can send
me
the files successfully.
