Egads! The XyWin clipboard method seems extreme. Why not do one of these:
1a. Run the format-stripping macro and do a save-as to a file named temp.txt
or
1b. Save as an ascii file or RTF file using filters. (Or PRINTF using the
MAIL printer driver? A bit hazy there.)
2. Open the temp file in Notepad, Wordpad, Windows Write (RTF in Wordpad
only, methinks).
3. Press Ctrl+A to highlight the whole file and Ctrl+C to copy it to the
Windows Clipboard.
4. Open the e-mail program, go to the message area, and press Ctrl+V to paste
the Clipboard.
Maybe this isn't really easier. I have a macro that automatically saves a Xy
file as RTF and calls the RTF file in Wordpad. Works only in Win 95/98. From
there I can do pretty much whatever I want, including Windows Fax, e-mail, or
even save the file for future use.
