if Firewire is truly down to $1/Gig, then key drives are about

the maximum key drive capacity is what -- 256Mb? 512Mb maybe? That won't back
up much software nowadays, and anyway the intent of key drives is not backup
but portability. Whereas 200Gb Firewire is becoming common. There's no
comparison.
Checking Firewire drives I see that you can put a $20 PCI USB 2.0 card in
your W98SE and connect. This is an ideal solution for our house -- 2 XP
machines and 2 W98 machines. I can back up three of those machines to one
Firewire drive. I think Patricia talked about Seagate drives in general.
