I have recently reformatted my hard drive. I had saved in my "favorite
xywrite" folder a website from the advice of someone on this list. This
person explained in detail how to effectively run a DOS program (e.g.
XY-DOS) with XP. He went through a step by step instruction on how to
change the "memory" settings so that the DOS screen opened up with no
problem. Does anyone remember this website? Or can anyone refer me to
similar solution? I know about the "alt+enter" trick to open the screen up,
but it did not cover other problems of running Xy-Dos under Windows XP.
Appreciate the goldmine of knowledge on this mailing list...reminds me of
those few left in the world who know about the healing qualities of plants
and herbs....the old medicine men...well, the "old xywrite (wo)men...." are
becoming extinct???
I just had an idea that someone should come up with a good DOS or XyWrite
bumper sticker. I'd use it in a New York minute...
