It determines whether the AutoReplace function (func AZ) is allowed
to produce block caps (0=No, 1=Yes). For example, suppose that your
SPL file has this AutoReplace pair:
ba bankruptcy
With ZC=1, you get a choice of the following expansions:
ba ==> bankruptcy
Ba ==> Bankruptcy
BA ==> BANKRUPTCY
With ZC=0, the first two expansions work the same, but the third
becomes:
"BA" ==> "Bankruptcy"
This avoids unintended autoexpansion to block caps if you hold the
Shift key down a tad too long when typing initial caps (the TWo
INitial CAps problem). For people prone to this error, it's a
typing aid. Otherwise, I can't think of any reason to set ZC=0.
