U2's HIDE frame doesn't seem to prevent s/g 05 from being overwritten by
the DOW (day of the week) frame. What am I doing wrong?
Here's my test pgm:
JM 2.xray/pQ2 JM 2.hide:03-49,51-58Q2 ;*;
JM 2.DOW/NVQ2 JM 2.unhideQ2 JM 2.xray/pQ2
The XRAY report before the HIDE is:
Pass 1
0000: run t.pgm
0050: 7/7/07
And after the UNHIDE it's:
Pass 2
0000: mem: 5
0001: DOW/NV
0002: 6
0003: 0Sun|1Mon|2Tues|3Wednes|4Thurs|5Fri|6Satur|
0004: Satur|
0005: 0
0006: 2007
0007: 5
0050: Saturday
0051: 7
0052: 7
0053: 2007
0099: 5
The Prompt reports: Saturday.
Deleting the call to DOW preserves 05's contents.
Also, I don't know why this problem has arisen only now, after years of
using DOW with HIDE successfully. (I have temporarily removed the new ENTER
key routine from the .KBD file and from U2.) I'm beginning to think there's
something wrong with my whole system.
Does the test program work on your machine?
