I will look into the possibility of changing the cursor's appearance in Insert
and overstrike modes. This is a little tougher in the Windows environment. I
also responded to Jack Shafer concerning the disappearing Ins/Ovr indicator. I
was able to reproduce this if I changed the position of the Status line to be
on the Command line (through Advanced/ Preferences/Defaults/Views-Custom
Display). With this set and with a lengthy User message, this overwrote the
indicator. I have noticed on one system in the office the problem of the
cursor changing from Ins to Ovr and would be most interested to hear what you
have found concerning this and the WIN.INI and SYS.INI files. Thanks for your
help.
