You could try typing the path of the download on the address line in IE. eg
http://users.datarealm.com/xywwweb/xylst94.zip If that doesn't work, there's a
setting in your internet options (I think it's under Tools, or View, for
sure it would be in your control panels) that refers to downloading
behavior -- Install on Demand, or some such language. Make sure that's
checked and see if it works then.
