How ? I use
ZTB and ZTW for searching all the time, but limited to one item at
a time. I'm guessing you meant that you do this, and *then* run
Search #2 etc. against the files that come up from Search #1, further
narrowing the results.
A compound search is one of the more useful
features I could imagine the ZTree author adding to the program -- and he
does continually add a lot of functionality -- but perhaps one of the
hardest to implement. (It kind of makes you wonder how Xy managed to
get its Boolean search features in so elegantly and so economically.)
One way that might work out for ZTree would be the use of some type of a
fill-in form, a la the one used by the old Deja News Power Search
page. Anything else might be a problem, given the ZTree style of program
interface.
