I had some difficulty getting config.txt to assign Lucida Console.
The trick is this line:
Font = LUCON
i.e., the filename of the font, but without the extension.
That seems to me to work quite well. I am pretty happy. However, I
noted that the font was not being rasterized as well as it should be
on my 3K laptop screen. Luckily there is a simple cure. In the
PROPERTIES box for vDos, under the Compatibility tag, check the box
which says 'disable display scaling on high DPI settings'.
Immediately, the font looks significantly better. This would
probably also be true for the default font.
