I dimly recall hearing that in the heyday of III. Whether it's true
or not, I don't know.
Renaming Editor in Xy4 and its successors should not be a problem,
as they have an internal VAriable, VA$ED, that records the path and
filename of the running copy of Editor. XyIII lacks this
intelligence, and that may cause problems if Editor has been
renamed. If so, it's easy enough to copy the renamed file to
Editor.EXE just before launching it -- e.g., via a BATch file.
